We are two web professionals with background in web marketing, SEO, design and development who have been in the game for more than 30 years, combined.  In that time we’ve realized that there are two main areas of concern when it comes to web development: getting people to your website and then getting them to do what you want.

Fundamentally, websites are machines that accomplish a specific task or set of tasks.  It’s up to the website owner and the web developer to manage the operation of this machine and to make changes for the better, if it’s desired.  We have a personal interest in making the sites we design better.  And that’s led, in a meandering way to this website.

In this space, we will be exploring the topic of website usability, or alternately website ux or just, ‘ux’.  The idea here is for both of us to be able to dialog with each other and with you to come about new thoughts and insights into web usability.

What we have here is our first podcast.  It tells you a bit about us, who we are, why we’re here and has a few brief thoughts on web usability and how business owners should think about the topic.

You can expect a new podcast from us every Monday and new posts on Wednesday and Friday.
